Reasons why people in 2022 are selling their homes!

1-Upgrade or downgrade Kids move to college, your family is growing, you want a place with an office, a workout room, you don’t need that big house, tired of cleaning it all, too many steps are some of the reasons people decide that they want to upgrade or down grade to a bigger or smaller home. 2-A couple gets divorced Sometimes it’s not in the stars for a couple and they have to part way. This is when they would need to sell because maybe not only one person can afford the payments on their own. 3-Your mortgage has become too expensive Sometimes people think they know what they are doing and then fall behind on bills. This can be caused by not calculating correctly, losing a job, adding to your family or many other reasons. But before you fall into pre-foreclosure or full blown about to lose your house, talk to an agent and see what they can do for you. 4-Transferring jobs or relocating When people get a job promotion out of state or more than the commute they would like to drive, they will think about selling their home just to move closer to their jobs or other family members. 5-Neighborhood Everyone is selling their homes…is there something they know that you do not? Sometimes peer pressure without being in school happens to everyone (well if they are eating donuts I might as well too) 6- Tired of doing all the work Some people decide that mowing the grass, replacing the hot water tank, roof or any repairs may be too much for them. They might decide to sell and move to a place they don’t have to worry about trimming or maintenance anymore 7- $$$ More money, more money, more money $$$ The market is hot, so many buyers, not enough homes, and you can use the money to buy something else and have money left over to go on a trip and relax or save the money for all the donuts in the world. *These are my opinions and mine only. People can sell for any and all reason, and these reasons are just what I have personally seen in the past 12 months
